Established 1798

Deerpark is near the confluence of the Neversink and Delaware rivers.

The town encompasses the communities of Cahoonzie, Cuddebackville, Godeffroy, Huguenot, Rio, Sparrowbush and Westbrookville.

D.W. Griffith made silent movies here between 1909 and 1915.

Not to be confused with Deer Park in Suffolk County.
